Google partnered with GoDaddy and eNom to offer Domains

According to the their Official Blog, Google has partnered with the two domain registrars GoDaddy.com and eNom, to offer domain registration for their Google Apps service. This service allows organisations to set up private-label Gmail, Google Talk, Google Calendar, and customizable start pages for their custom domains. Until now, a organisation needed a already registered domain, to sign up for Google Apps. Now the domain can be registered at the sign up process. At the beginning there are .com, .net, .org, .biz, and .info domains available. The price for a domain is $10 per year and includes private registration.

Microsoft and Baidu announced a strategic alliance

Microsoft and Baidu today announced a strategic alliance on paid search services, which will officially commence in December 2006. As a result of this strategic alliance, Microsoft will display Baidu’s paid search listings on the search results pages of certain Microsoft websites, including MSN, Live, and other partner websites in China. Live.com top searches for 2006

The Live.com team has compiled a nice list of the most searched terms in 2006. The list contains different categories such as celebrity images, news, products, and travel. Because the FIFA World Cup this year, generated so many soccer related searches, they also added a list with the Top 10 soccer searches.
