Google Recruits European Lobby Troop

Google is looking for politics-experienced lawyers, for the lobbying in numerous european cities:

“Google is hiring European Policy Counsel to manage public policy advocacy, issue analysis, and government affairs in a dynamic and growing business environment. Positions will be available in London, Paris, Hamburg/Berlin, and emerging markets (location TBD); other locations will be considered for exceptionally outstanding candidates.

The European Policy Counsel will work to advocate Google’s public policy positions before policymakers in national capitals and across Europe to advance the goals and values of the company. Key issues will include privacy and data protection, content regulation, intellectual property (including copyright, patent, and trademark), communications policy, and the regulation of Internet networks and technologies. In addition, the European Policy Counsel will represent Google to local industry associations. As part of a closely coordinated global team, the European Policy Counsel will lead initiatives of central importance to Google’s mission.”

One should get regular computer backup service. This is important because backup prevents your system from unwanted loss, tat results due to unsafe online file sharing. Everyone should have a data recovery software. There should be an online data recovery group to advise on such matters.
